Mrs Jane MacDougall
MB Bchir, MA, MD, FRCOG, Med
Jane has worked as a consultant at Addenbrooke’s Hospital since 1994. She was trained in IVF in London whilst completing a research degree with Professor Howard Jacobs at Middlesex Hospital. She is now a sub-specialist in reproductive medicine and is also lead clinician for reproductive endocrinology and paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.
Having held various educational posts, she is currently Head of School for the Postgraduate School of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the East of England and is therefore responsible for training colleagues to provide the best possible care.
Jane says: “We are very proud of Cambridge IVF and the clinical results that we have achieved in the four years since the unit opened. We are aiming to further develop it into the best NHS-based unit in the country, run by experienced staff who have your interests very much at heart. We are the only clinic in the eastern region which is run by subspecialists in reproductive medicine who can provide you with expert advice on all aspects of fertility."
"Close links to Cambridge University Hospital with its strengths in research and education will help us to give you up to date and evidence based treatment”.
“My aim is to plan your treatment and explain what we are doing and why in a way that is easy to understand. I’m also here to listen to you and address any concerns you may have so that we can provide you with really high quality care which meets your individual needs.”
