Susannah joined the Cambridge IVF team in September 2015. After studying at the University of Leeds her fertility career began at The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health in London in 2010. She was initially trained as an Andrologist and within her role worked at the Reproductive Medicine Laboratory at University College Hospital London performing diagnostic andrology, processing treatment samples and freezing semen for oncology patients. Susannah undertook and completed her training in clinical embryology whilst working at The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health and has experience in preimplantation genetic diagnosis and screening in addition to routine laboratory procedures. She is a member of the Association of Clinical Embryologists and has attained State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Susannah was delighted to join the team at Cambridge IVF in order to assist in providing excellent quality of care to patients; to work in a state of the art lab and to help each patient achieve their ultimate goal, to have a baby. She strongly believes in the provision of fertility services through the NHS and the importance of the interaction of the many specialist departments within Addenbrookes to each patient’s overall health and wellbeing. Susannah is keen to pursue research in collaboration with The Rosie in order to enhance our understanding of the field and to continually develop and improve the service offered at Cambridge IVF.
